ToS Prep: GCN Escalator.
Some fine, concentrated suffering there @Coach.Neal.H.
I am going to have to drop out of the tour, in isolation with COVID for the second time in 12 months. Going to have to start recovery in the week before the tour so don’t want to risk things by pushing too hard. Gutted.
There is the Alt Tour for your consideration. In the meantime. Get well!
There is an alt tour for the injured etc and you could always just soft pedal the workouts in level mode if you feel up to it . But don’t risk your health.
You could also just keep the workouts in your calendar, and then move them forward to do them when you’re feeling better? Call it ToSDiY…
Actually Coach Mac put the plan together.
Hmm, well @JSampson I’ll take your word for it. But in the first minute, GCN Chris specifically calls out @Coach.Neal.H as having developed the session during the intro.
Sorry @Coach.Mac.C if I/they got it wrong!
@CPT_A You are correct. I read your post as Coach Neal creating the TOS Prep Plan. My mistake.
Take it easy - wishing you a speedy recovery
I’m also out due to COVID so we can do the Alt Tour together @grum7630. Thanks for suggesting it @Glen.Coutts!
Wishing you and the others on the AltTour a speedy recovery!
Today did a double ride, ending with F-ght Cl-b, which I just love mostly because of Liz Diegnan. I decided to start getting my expletives ready for next week’s rides.
As for emoticons, I think I’ll be using these ones the most
Super helpful!
I have a few questions:
If I want to do the workout on the Friday not the Saturday how do I start it in the app so that systm records it as complete?
For stage 7 is the requirement: suf idol, blender, cash register in that order without any meaningful break in between?
If you’re following the nuclear option what do you do as it starts to crumble do you: try to hold the power as long as possible for every session? drop the targets and do the workout as hard as possible without changing intent? Something else?
“Need more cowbell!”
Such a brilliant idea from Dame Kis!
@jacek Thanks for the chart. Most helpful!
I always follow the order and have 5-10 minutes in between … you got this.
Reschedule it in the calendar. As long as you are within the 50 hour window, it will count towards the Tour.
Ideally, yes. We all know that life gets in the way so manage it as best you can but the original intention is back-to-back-to-back.
Drop intensity and continue to suffer as best you can!
This is contrary to what I was told earlier. I asked the same question and was told even if it was on my calendar for Saturday, but I started it on Friday, I did NOT have to change it on my calendar, just to do it as long as it was within the 50 hour window.
Either is fine but a definitive answer would be helpful. Doing it and not having it count would not be good.
