Thanks for flagging, Rue the Day is back up and running too - sorry about that.
Noooooooooooo! With Who Dares and Do As Your Told being removed from the library temporarily I have now lost the downloads of the original version, so now have no choice but to use the updated video. Can’t help but feel that was intentional. Their KPIs will now say everyone downloaded the new version, so they must love the de-suffing. Like rigging an election, then claiming the electorate love you because they all voted for you.
Yeh, I noticed that too. Musta changed the coding to access whatever was downloaded so it’s probably still there if you’re tech savvy enough (unlike me )
Yeh, not that tech savvy either.
Also disappointed that there is no badge for April.
Where are the four recommended cycling videos? I don’t see anything being recommended.
One of the loaded routes in the wahoo app is the Ironman Kona route. Is that a realistic indoor ride for 99 percent of us. It’s over a hundred miles.
This is kind of a big deal, and I think it’s a really cool feature… SIM mode! Finally!
Sir Rupert, I highly suggest that some more formal and official announcement be done by you/Wahoo to promote this new feature. This might very well make me eliminate my Zwift subscription this fall…
Rob
Please provide a link. I don’t see a cycling section on the homepage. Can’t find the four recommended workouts
As far as I can tell, @Rupert is referring to the Wahoo Fitness app and not SYSTM (as I can’t find them there, either).
So, using the other app, you can find the routes under the Plan tab, as mentioned.
In both apps on the homepage tab there are recommended workouts and we have listed 4:
Routes are only accessible via the Wahoo App. There are a few selected by Wahoo or you can upload your own
Are there plans to expand the Routes feature? Such as adding more « Wahoo Favorite » routes, or, dare I hope, adding a generic route video generation (you know, like RGT had)?
Yes, this is huge!
Reading that article, it specifies Wahoo branded trainer etc.
It really will only work with Wahoo kickr, run and kickr bike?
Or is it too early in the morning for me?
Ohhhh. Groan.
Given that ERG mode control is only supported for Wahoo trainers in the Wahoo app (to my understanding), I suspect that this will also be the case for SIM mode. This would seriously limit the general appeal of this feature…
I’m really hoping that Wahoo will provide a more complete announcement of the feature.
Rob
I did download them all. And they still aren’t available!
Yeh, I noticed that too. I guess something must dull the suffering after all
@Rupert is that right that you’ll need wahoo hardware to make use of the routes feature?
Rupert,.
How do I change my homepage to look like yours.
I want to see the 4 suggested cycling workouts.
This is how it looks now.
yep, so my suspicions were correct, regrettably, I’m told that they’ve changed the ID numbers for the remastered vids such that you will be unable to access content with footage where licenses had expired, even if you’d downloaded them. I guess I will never be beating Coryn Labecki (Rivera) at Flanders ever again
@Ctknov996 you can update your SYSTM app to the latest version and the new homepage will show.
Either update in the app store or delete the app and download it again from here:
@Ctknov996 , I don’t think you need to update your SYSTM app, but you will need to change a setting in, or download and install the Wahoo App on your mobile device, what you’ll need to do to see the recommended cycling vids on your SYSTM home page is go into the Wahoo App settings, tap the little profile icon on the top left, then tap “training preferences”, then make sure you’ve tapped “Cycling” so there’s a check mark. See pics below. Once you’ve done that, the “recommended” cycling vids will show up on your home page (edit, you might need to refresh the home page by going to any other tab then come back to it).
