Totally agree with this statement especially in the fields of mechanical engineering (mostly males) and civil engineering (mostly females). Please donât take offence on this. As I remember from my undergraduate days, the branch of engineering which has an almost equal split of males to females would be electrical and electronic engineering and it pains me to see so few ladies are my mechanical engineering course.
Just to add on, there are some working places which favours promoting men than women which leaves me speechless. What baffles me is that, why do some in the M-level thinks men makes better managers than women?
Hey @NorthumberlandHill - thanks for the feedback. As the person behind the edit can I ask you, in the context of the video, would be a more appropriate way to phrase things up?
I get to spend a fair amount of time with male and female pro teams and the term âboys/girlsâ gets used a fair amount of time when referring to themselves (as opposed to referring to the other gender): âcome on boysâ, âalright boys?ââŚ
I can assure you that thereâs no intent to come across as misogynistic but understand that sometimes, despite our best efforts, we fail to hit the mark. On this occasion though, Iâm struggling to see how we could phrase it.
As for the session itself, one could say itâs âcontrolledâ, an indication of how far we have come with our approach to training where beating yourself to a pulp in training can often be very counterproductive. (Sir Neal released a post higher up this thread about this).
A easy way is make it comparative, if its boy and girls both are equal. But girls to men , which is what the video does is unequal. It lessens the women status.
lol. I almost asked that the other day. Then deleted my post when I realized what was going on.
I checked the URL and realized that the link was the to the Italian version of the page. Apparently Attacker is the only workout and text that seems to be translated into Italian in that link. Hence âAttaccanteâ.
Just rueâd the day for the first time! %*#*⏠me!
Iâm wondering how bad can a laser goat attack be. It canât be any worse than questioning GVAâs hardness. That ineos guy with the ripped shorts didnât look too badly hurt!!!
