@emacdoug We can release the remastered Kitchen Sink in November that’s fine.
Violator and Standing Starts are planned for later this month, just waiting on footage.

That would be a blessing. I hate to see it remastered at all. But holding off until November after Sufferlandrian National Day at least is a good concession. I appreciate that @Rupert.
For Violator, I was wondering whether the notice to use Level Mode and not ERG mode will be retained after remastering? That has put me off trying it in the past as I’m not great in gauging my power level without a power meter and my power levels bounce around a lot when aiming for a target. In my experience, the lag of ERG mode (on a 1st gen Zwift Hub) usually copes ok as the whole power envelope is just shifted back in time a bit.
The notice will remain due to how short the intervals are in Violator and the time it takes for the trainer to respond. It doesn’t require too much shifting once you have established your ‘work’ and ‘recovery’ gears.
Thanks for the fast reply. Will give it a go.
When is this again?
That past two years it’s been the final Sunday in October. I propose this year for it to be the final Saturday in October. That would be 2025-10-25 (Oct 25). And of course, Sufferlandrian time applies.
I’m confused are you saying there are targets in Violator?
The only instructions are SPRINT and recover.
Sprint means max effort, ignore the numbers, this is the way.
I’ve never tried Violator, always been wary of the level mode warning.
I will create an achievement for this weekend covering Saturday and Sunday but as mentioned Sufferlandrian time zones will apply (badge will be visible from Oct 1)
@Rupert Sir Rupert and @mgboehmer , I am resubscribing for October because of this, and wanted to also mention that I have been lurking quite a bit while not active on the platform to investigate any changes yet. I appreciate the effort engaging the Sufferlandrian customers.
Back to Agonia!
I usually do Violator once a quarter – four times a year.
Why are you wary of the Level mode warning? It is how you ride outside.
This is fantabulous. Thank you, @Rupert!
I’ve posted an announcement here:
I enjoyed the new AVDP. Fighting the last interval with Pinot made me tear up at the end…
I’d like it if each of the five interval themes got a logo (like Model) or at least a picture (a hurt locker, a fountain…) - you could then reuse them at the end (rather than just text, and also use them, or a play on them, to break up the interval (the first three are less captivating).
I’ve not read all 399 responses here so apologies if I’m behind on developments or repeating comments but in the last few months I’ve done Angels and ISLAGIATT. The new versions are terrible! Where are Nibali and Visconti? Where’s riding into the snow against Quintana in the Giro? The new versions have me riding solo with a few random riders. Even the crowds on the road look bored. Where is the fun and motivation in that? I can easily do a structured workout and just put on a YouTube video if that’s all that Suff is offering now.
Luckily I’ve been doing Sufferefest since the beginning and still have the downloaded versions of the original videos. Think I’ll go back to that cancel my subscription!
I’m thinking the same. I have a load of the original videos and the new edits are just not up to standard. No engaging storyline or visuals.
Agree, the new videos have lost all appeal, all engagement. Might as well ride with Cotty
Cotty has his place in the realm of video/workouts. His On Location videos have always been a nice change of pace for me.
Yep. They are a good change of pace and alternative. Just not replacements for SUF videos. Right?
Absolutely.
